Your experience begins with pickup from your Sharm El Sheikh hotel and transfer to the airport, followed by pickup at Luxor Airport to start a private tour of the West Bank necropolis. You will visit the Valley of the Kings and descend into three royal tombs. Next you will see the rock‑cut mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el‑Bahari and admire its well‑preserved murals. Along the way there will be a quick photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two immense statues beside the ongoing excavation of the palace of Amenophis III. After lunch at a good local restaurant, you will cross to the East Bank to explore the Karnak Temple complex, where pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Hatshepsut and Ramses II performed sacred rituals. Karnak contains holy lakes, hypostyle halls, obelisks, pylons and shrines.
