Small Group Tour to Luxor from Hurghada

Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada by your Tamer Safari Tours tour manager and driven to Luxor on an air-conditioned deluxe coach. In Luxor you will visit the famous Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name, Ipet‑isut, means “the most sacred of places.” As you move through the complex, you will see the great Hypostyle Hall — an impressive forest of giant pillars built over generations by successive pharaohs. Along the way you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor. After lunch you will cross to the West Bank of the Nile to view the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon. You will also visit the Valley of the Kings, where tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures intended for the pharaohs’ afterlife. On this visit you will enter three of those tombs, experiencing some of the ancient burial sites and their ornamental reliefs and paintings.
