Hundreds of thousands of people attend the sound and light shows each year to watch monuments such as the world‑renowned Pyramids of Giza come alive after dark. You will sit as the sites are illuminated and narrated, with images and effects layered across the stone façades so the history and cultural importance of the monuments are presented in a vivid, visual form. The production uses state‑of‑the‑art lighting, laser effects and projection to visualise and bring to life the mysteries of the Pharaonic Egyptian civilisation. As the show unfolds, you will hear about the sites’ historical and cultural significance while the lighting and projected imagery dramatise scenes from ancient Egypt, helping the stories and symbols on the monuments become easier to follow and understand.
