Overview
You will be collected from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for the journey to the base of Mount Sinai, also known as the mountain of Moses. At night you will begin the ascent to reach the summit in time to catch the sunset, then descend after the experience. After the climb you will visit St Catherine’s Monastery at the mountain’s base, one of the oldest and most famous monasteries in the world. The monastery was dedicated to Saint Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her Christian faith. Later you will pause for lunch and some rest in Dahab at a local restaurant and will have time to shop by the sea. The day ends with a return to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
