Overview
An Ancient Egypt Tours representative will collect you from your hotel in Cairo for a private day tour that covers the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the Dahshour pyramids, Old Memphis and the Saqqara necropolis. You will begin at the Giza Plateau to see the pyramids of King Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus. From the panorama area you can take memorable photos of the three pyramids together, then continue to visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Next you will travel to Dahshour to view the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid, both belonging to the king Senefro. The tour then moves on to Saqqara, the oldest necropolis for kings, princes and nobles, where you will see the Zoser structure — the first stone structure in the ancient world — and the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, with vegetarian options available if needed. At the end of the day you will be driven back to your hotel in Cairo.
