Tour to Giza Pyramids, Sakkara Pyramids, Memphis & Dahshur

Overview

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo for a private day tour to some of ancient Egypt’s most iconic sites, including the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, Dahshur, Old Memphis and the Saqqara necropolis. Along the way you will visit the pyramids of King Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus and stop at a panorama area for memorable photos of the three pyramids together. You will also see the Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple as part of the Giza visit. The tour continues to Dahshur to explore the first complete pyramid, the Red Pyramid, and the Bent Pyramid — both attributed to King Senefro. You will then visit Old Memphis and the Saqqara necropolis, the oldest burial ground for kings, princes and nobles. In Saqqara you will see the Zoser structure, noted as the first stone structure in the ancient world, and the Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, with vegetarian options available if needed. The day finishes with a drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
