Tour to the West Bank in Luxor

Overview

A Tamer safari Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and take you to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings. Here you will see the grandeur of the ancient burial architecture and visit three tombs (the visit excludes the Tomb of King Tutankhamun). As you move through the site, you will get a sense of why many pharaohs chose this valley for their tombs. You will also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I. She ruled for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490–1469 BC) and is noted as the only pharaonic woman to have reigned in ancient Egypt. After the visit you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
