As you explore the Roman Amphitheatre of Kom El-Deka, you will see a marble-stone structure that once held about 800 spectators, admire its pleasure garden and view the preserved Roman baths and villas. You will then descend into the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a striking underground necropolis dating to the 2nd century AD, where the blend of Egyptian, Greek and Roman architectural features is clearly visible.
