Half Day Tour Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples private

It was a very interesting visit, very good guide who explaned it very well and gave lots of interesting tips. He made it a very pleasant visit.

After our amazing encounter with Taha the day before, we decided to explore Luxor and the Karnak Temple with him, instead of on our own. We booked our trip with him, and since it was Taha's second trip, he went above and beyond to take us to a nice koshari restaurant for lunch. Taha and the agency provided the best travel experience. Highly recommended.

Initially we booked this half day tour for in the morning but having seen Luxor Temple lit up at night we asked if we could change the timing to late afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble for Mohammed at IconTours Egypt and our pick up time was changed without any issues. It was great to start the tour of Karnak at a cooler time and to be at Luxor temple for sunset. We feel super lucky to have met our guide Mansour. He showed us areas of the temples that were bypassed by bigger tour groups. Often we found ourselves in quiet areas learning about the carvings and the stories they depicted with

He took us through the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon, sharing fascinating history and stories at every stop. Mansour was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable and easy. We really appreciated how he brought the sites to life and helped us get great photos.
